Iraq

I had the pleasure of watching Charlie Rose's interview of Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Alsaud at the time that Morsi was elected president.  I was charmed by him and his wife. Both went to college in the U.S. and England.  Yes, they mentioned the opressive policies of their country.  The wife is fighting for women's right, very difficult to succeed.  Leaving all that aside, I was impressed by the Prince's knowledge and understanding of world policies. The Prince said that the U.S. gave Iraq to Al Qeida on a silver plater.  Al Maliki was a bad choice, and he was outraged with the lack of support for Hosni Mubarak who was a friend and an ally of the U.S.  He saw Egypt turning into a Muslim state under Morsi. Well, he was right. Egypt is real mess now..I always said that  the U.S. expects foreign heads of state rule their country in same manner as  leaders of the Western world rule.  Huge mistake.  Does not work.  The U.S. should help and assist, but stop imposing.  There was no crime in Brazil under the Military regime. And, the democratic government of Brasil had to engage the army to bring order to the world World Cup, and make sure that it is crime free.  Actully, I am going to watch the World Cup now.  Brazil x Crimea.  Wish me luck.
